Enzymes are needed to help control all mental and physical functions.
Each body cell has in excess of 100,000 enzyme particles necessary for metabolic processes.
Replacement of enzymes is often necessary as modern food preparation methods can destroy essential enzymes in your diet. Stress, illness and age also contribute to poor enzymes production in the body. Supplementing digestive enzymes can help improve the digestion of food and absorption of nutrients. This in turn helps prevent indigestion, heartburn, bowel irregularity, gas, bloating and constipation.
NESS - Nutritional Enzyme Support Systems
I have have had good feedback and results from using NESS enzyme products over a number of years.
Formula 601 - for when gastric irritation is present. A very gentle and healing formula, suitable to use when the mucosa is irritated to support overall digestion.
Formula 1 - for protein digestion (helps break protein down in to amino acids). Proper protein digestion is necessary to build and repair tissue, transport calcium, form enzymes and hormones, maintain your immune system, elevate blood glucose levels, balance pH and regulate the body's water balance. Most of us need to improve our digestion as our diets are often too high in cooked and processed foods that are deficient in natural enzymes.
Formula 2 - for complex carbohydrate digestion (necessary to balance the pH of body fluids, provide an immediate source of energy and to support normal gall bladder function).
Also available: Eagle Vegie DigestAid - may help those with problems digesting gluten and/or fruits & veges. GIT 2 - for tender abdomen Gastro Aid - reflux & depepsia relief Slippery elm - as powder or tablets Probiotics - specific for individual problems
Always read the label and use as directed. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional. (TAPS Approval No. PP6653)
