Acromegaly is an abnormal enlargement of the extremities of the skeleton, usually nose, jaw, hands and feet, resulting from hyper-secretion of the growth hormone from the pituitary gland. It can be caused by structural abnormalities of the pituitary gland and is usually treated by surgery, radiation or drug therapy.
I personally have not treated any cases of acromegaly and know of no natural remedy. However basic treatments such as improving enzyme, mineral and antioxidant levels may be helpful.
Kelp, in particular is a good mineral source to use as often thyroid problems are linked with the pituitary. Spirulina is another good choice.
Colour therapy has been known to help in some instances.
