'Seatone' is the trade name for an extract of Green-lipped mussel (perna canaliculus) first produced in New Zealand by McFarlane Laboratories in 1972. It has been used as an extremely effective, natural and gentle formula for supporting joint health and mobility ever since.
'Seatone' is an extract of the Green-lipped mussel which utilises active fractions of the mussel, making it more effective than simply powdered frozen mussel (which contains inactive fractions and inconsistent results). Several active fractions have been identified and research show's their support for joint health and mobilty.
'Seatone' is well tolerated as it contains a blend of natural proteins, minerals, mucopolysaccharides, natural glucosamine and Omega 3 fatty acids.
It has few side effects; I won't say any, as it shouldn't be used by people who have an allergy to sea foods or by people who have a susceptibility to getting gout. However for all those that can use 'Seatone' the benefits are two fold, as not only does it provide support for joint mobilty but it also protects the stomach from the potentially harmful effects of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This can be particularly relevant if you are going to be taking NSAIDs for your mobility as well as 'Seatone'.
As with Glucosamine, it takes few weeks for the beneficial results of taking 'Seatone' to become apparent, but once the benefits are realised then a very low daily dose is all that is needed to obtain on going support for joint problems.
