In early 1995 Alison Odey began writing the 'Naturopathic Help' column for Healthy Options magazine. Healthy Options magazine is a popular natural health-centred publication distributed through supermarkets and bookshops in New Zealand and subscribed to by overseas readers. Alison's 'Naturopathic Help' column answers questions sent in by the public and has become very popular. 

Alison also writes a regular column for the Papamoa Newsletter, a local publication in Papamoa, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand as well as writing regular email newsletters for her clients.
